The 6V6GTB-STR is a homage to the vintage 6V6GT made in the 1950s and 60s by Tung-Soll, RCA, GE, Raytheon and Sylvania using the characteristic black/grey coating known as "smoked glass". If you 'd remove the glas then you'd see the beautiful blackplate anode construction.
Used in the 5E3 Tweed Deluxe, Pricneton and Champ Amps since decades. In recent years many high end amp manufacturers rediscovered the 6V6GT and its distinctive warm and detailed clean tone and that signature sweet saturation sparkle when pushed.
